The kids that walked tall!

This party in Cardiff was organised for children with cerebral palsy either waiting for (or have had) an operation to help them to walk. All the children's parents have to raise funds for this life changing operation, in Evie's case this was over £50,000.

Following surgery in the USA most of these youngsters are now able to walk. The operations were performed by the lovely Dr Parks (top centre) who hosts this party every year. He comes over with his team for a night of fun and laughter!

The young lady in the centre looking at the camera is my lovely granddaughter Evie. She had her op just over 12 months ago and although she still spends most of her time in a wheelchair she is making good progress with the aid of a walking frame.
