Racing the clock

I was at my parents today and not in work until late so took advantage of the sunshine for a pleasant run. I run the same route I did years ago when I lived here and I noticed getting back that on the whiteboard by my old desk were the times that I used to write on.
Long before the days of using an app to record a run (Runkeeper by the way, highly recommended) I used to note times down, the three top times always on there and if I ran faster I'd add it on and remove a slow one. In fact I remember before the days when you could even map a run online, I used to work out a route and then 0 my cart's odometer and drive round the route to get the distance!

The best time on the board I can make out is 34:05, my run yesterday was 35:15, I'm slowing down in my old age, although to be fair those times were probably written down at a time when I'd recently run a marathon.
