6 months old!

sam is half a year old today. how time is flying. it does not surprise me to learn that he is starting to enjoy his food very much indeed, getting the hang of it good style. i had no idea this childhood obesity epidemic was so virulent! i'm a bit worried about how much my weekly food bill is going to increase!

dad was admitted to hospital today. he's just not coping at all, exhausted, in pain, no appetite and losing weight every day. they think he is dehydrated so he's on a drip and hopefully they'll sort out his pain control a bit better. just hoping that the side effects of the radiotherapy start to wear off soon.
