On the nature train
Today we visited Magnolia Gardens in Charleston, SC. What a magnificent plantation with so much history attached to it. On the train we saw flora and fauna. This is an anhinga which is a relative to the cormorant. He is sitting on a platform that the turtles and alligators use for sunning. Just found out that alligators must be out of the water and sunning daily for their digestive system.
