Contentment

Contentment is to walk in the hills mid week when the day trippers are back in the towns and the quiet walks are left for us to explore alone... The quiet, the calm and the peace generate strong bonds that are forged of the strongest materials. Spent half my day preparing a taster menu for tomorrow (for some seriously opinionated judges) that includes dishes from Crete, India, Spain and Italy.
First in the morning will be a walk in the mountains of Glenmalure where appetites will be whetted on stony, granite paths. If the weather is kind a couple of hours of wandering with the cameras and then back to the valley for my judgement. I care not a whit for the result as by that time I will have had all the enjoyment one could hope for in a day's walking.....with someone you care for.....just saying.....
