Hip hip hip hooray!

This is a photo of the two hippos at LA Zoo. They were both enjoying the underwater life when we arrived but finally one stuck her head up to say hi. We experienced a fun day at the zoo complete with some natural behaviour - the lions and the zebras demonstrated copulation, the langurs were checking each other's bottom areas for fleas, the toddler orangatan did a number two on her mother's head and the visitors were all split between - yuk and that's really interesting! A great fun and tiring day!
