Lift-off!

A juvenile gull takes to the air after Taxiing along the Pier, waits for the all clear with his tail up before lift-off!

I had a wonderful day with fellow blipper JMK. We had lunch at Sumner overlooking Cave Rock where the sea was crashing against the rocks sending sea spray in all directions as it glistened under the warm autumn sun. After lunch we took a drive to the New Brighton Pier,. People were strolling along the Pier while others fished off the Pier, surfers enjoyed the ride of the waves and the view in all directions was magnificent.

It was great to be out and about and by the sea, thanks so much J for a lovely day :)

I'm extremely late tonight and its time I turned the light out - have a great Wednesday everyone :)
