Nearly........

.........but not quite open! These are buds on my Virburnum which when they do open, will fill the garden with a delicious perfume. Nearly every Spring, passersby stop and ask "what is that lovely smell?"

I was going to wait until it opened before I blipped it but I could find nothing more exciting today.

Oh, I shall be pleased when I'm able to drive again - it is as if I have lost a bit of ME. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long now!

Anni has had trouble with her bank cards being cloned or whatever - has spent ages on the phone trying to sort it out. Not an ideal way to spend part of a holiday!

On a more sombre note, please offer thoughts and/or prayers for all the relatives, friends and rescue services who are involved in the horrendous mud slide in Washington State.
It must be absolutely terrible for everyone concerned.

Weather cloud and sun here - temperature is 39 Deg.F. but feels warmer in the sun.
