More tigers.....
Ebullient after yesterdays brace of tigers we set off again at dark o'clock with Vijay back into the forest. No pressure Vijay, let's see what's what So we drive about and catch some deer, warthogs, blue bull and crocodiles down by the river. we eventually pitch up at a spot where Vijay reckons the alpha female of the area and her three cubs come down to drink. So we sit and wait and wait and wait staring down the stream to the lake. For some reason I look up hill instead of down and there is this big stripy head staring back at me...eh boys there's a tiger there, 10 metres left.
More excitement kicks off, turns out it's the male cub, probably about 7 months old here, he's a big laddie for his age. After about twenty minutes he ups and wanders off. We swing by the other side of the lake and there is a large deer in serious distress standing 30 metres from the shore. Then she appears, the Lady of the Lake, mum... We are now on four tigers, four separate individuals. Doesn't get much better I reckon.
