T-4-2
A dull, foggy morning managed to get a grip of itself and by 10am the sun was breaking through and blue sky was spreading as quickly as the smile on my face :)))
Friends Gail and Natalie arrived and we headed off to Alan's school to have tea and scones at the T-4-2 cafe that's run by the 6th years.
As usual Alan was on meet and greet duties and was in full charm mode, Especially when he saw Gail and Natalie. We enjoyed a very nice cuppa and the scones were a delight as usual.
After spending a very pleasant hour in the cafe, we headed back down the road for a wander in some rather nice ladies boutiques (I resisted buying anything, but then again that's not difficult when then only things that would fit you are the necklaces or the hats! :-)) then we had lunch in my favourite local cafe. Delicious, fresh food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Perfect.
Now getting organised for a meeting with Rachel, who manages Ed and Marion on our behalf. Today's meeting is to discuss the recruitment of a further two personal assistants for Alan for when he leaves school in the summer. Please keep everything crossed for us that we strike gold again like we did with Marion & Ed.
Was messing about with my camera this morning while we were waiting for Alan's lift to school, when I noticed that every time the shutter clicked he blinked and jumped about a foot in the air! Not sure why he was so noise sensitive this morning (maybe Ed had cleaned his ears! :-)) but I couldn't resist snapping his reaction even though he was too close to the camera to get a decent shot. He got the giggles with every jump!
