They're back!

My husband and I had a walk along the quayside this morning and noticed that the Kittiwakes are back, nesting on every available spot next to the river. These are high up in the girders of the Tyne Bridge, too far away for my camera to give a very clear picture.
They had their own nesting site built further down the river, but they seem to prefer to be near to people. Everyone just needs to remember not to walk under them, or they will be spattered.
