Cycle 40 for Zambia
My sister agreed to take part in a 40 mile sponsored bike ride to raise funds for an orphanage in Zambia. Due to forecast inclement weather (that didn't actually materialise) the rest of the team cycled a week ago. She was looking initially like she might be riding alone, until a whole gang of friends and family decided to cycle with her. The route was along an old railway line, largely flat but a bit muddy and frequently a bit wet (it is winter after all). Our good friend here is good naturedly demonstrating what happens when you ride a bike down a hiking trail in winter with no mud guards.
It was a really good if exhausting day.
