Weihnachtsmarkt

Actually it's only Edinburgh but it feels pretty German, they've done a nice job of it. The girls devoured a bratwurst (no salt & sauce though) and mum might have snuck in a Gluhwein or two, but she claims she didn't touch a drop. I believe her.

Bryony then went off to the Beavers Christmas party for her first ever ten pin bowling (of the non-Wii variety). She won the first comp and beat all the boys. That's what I like to hear - it's not the taking part that counts, it's the winning!

After that performance I don't think we should let her near a golf course otherwise Grumps and I will be seriously embarrased...
