The greylag geese, The Wild geese

We drove over to Udale bay this evening to see if there were any Geese around. Not long now till they will be gone until the Autumn. The field next to the bird hide near Newhall Point had hundreds of them feeding in the field and as we drove back skeins of them flew noisily overhead. This song ties two songs together and rather apt for this blip.

It's been another super day. In fact I now have sunburn and prickly heat so should have really put some cream on but it was so lovely and warm I did nt want to move.
I did do some more tidying and planting and now the sun is setting and the sky is a lovely light blue and pink. Clear skies so should be a starry night :)
