DDWs March 2014 Vocabulary Challenge - anfractuous

I'm not obsessed with graveyards! Honest. I go months without going near one!
But todays challenge, anfractuous, was a tough one.

I'd noticed this twisty path on the way to work, and went back during the day. It is full of twists and turns in many ways, not just the path itself. Life is full of twists and turns. The graves here are the graves of rich people - but the other end of this same graveyard is the burial site for the Victorian workhouse. So the richest were buried in the same place as the poorest. How's that for a twist on their fate. They really did end up in the same place at the end...
