A day at the coast by popular consensus of the guests, and what a day - great lighting, great clouds and the tide out about a Kilometre.

A few of us managed to get right out to the furthest set of oyster beds, and waited for the tide to start coming back in. I used a 0.6 hard-edged grad on the sky, to preserve detail in the clouds, and a big stopper (10-stop ND filter) to give a long exposure to remove any detail in the water - I was looking for a high-key, minimalist feel.

Processed in Silver Efex, and toned with the middle of the selenuim toners
