Sunny Day at the McKenzie Marsh

It was a very lovely sunny afternoon here today but with a very cold north wind! Decided to go out and check out the marsh, ice and snow still covering much of the marsh. On my way there I did see my first robin, a wonderful sign of spring and while we were at the marsh we saw a cardinal and two Canada geese looking for open water but ended up landing on the ice for a rest. Hopefully in another month we might see the turtles and frogs!
