"I carry my camera everywhere I go...

...Having a new film to develop gives me a good reason to wake up in the morning."
- Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol created much of his art from photographs—those he collected from mass media and those he shot himself. At the time of Andy Warhol’s death in February 1987, there were about 50,000 photographs, many of them Polaroids, in his estate.

Today I visited Andy Warhol's exhibition "An American Story" at Sara Hildén Art Museum with my artist friends Meri-Kaarina. Jaana, Niina and Kirsti. The exhibition was very interesting and inspirational -- it presented around 150 works; traditional canvases, drawings, graphic works, photography, serial images and cinema.

After the exhibition we had a dinner at restaurant Heinätori and lastly Niina served us some sparkling wine at her home.

Hubby and kids visited my mother-in-laws birthday party, so it was fun night for all.
