After seven days in Cyprus, we boarded the five hour flight and returned to Edinburgh.

Despite the wee man's cold, it's been a lovely holiday. In some ways Cyprus was the perfect place for him. At least Nikki and I were both at 'home' and we could let the wee man romp around in his nappy and be inspired by a new environment. There's no doubt the wee man enjoyed his vacation. We may not have splashed in pool as much as we'd hoped but he certainly enjoyed romping around in his nappy for a week.

In fact, he boarded on walking so many times. Yes, he took his first steps a few weeks ago but so far that was a one off. I wouldn't say our wee man is a toddler until he's teetering regularly. As with most things, he seems determined to master them before he puts them into practice, and walking is no different. I've said it for months now but the wee man is very close to wandering on his own. Any day now...
