Wings waiting to fly...

...though they only fly in circles once they are in place.
Seeing these "wings" on the ground, with people and trucks nearby shows just how huge they are.
Härnösand harbour has experienced a boom as over a hundred of these wings have arrived in the last few months. These arrived by boat a few days ago and are waiting to be transported to their hilltop locations. The towers to which they are fixed are also here in sections but all you see of those are rather boring (if large) wooden boxes.
There is a strange beauty in the flowing lines of these blades.
After backblips for yesterday and the day before I finally got up to date! There seems to be a water-theme in all three images!
