The Acorn, my local

The Acorn and the sky this morning is quiet leaden. A just before taking this image it was raining! Not quite two muddy boots and a soggy dog, but it could have been if the pub was open at 0730ish this morning!

The Acorn has be under refurbishment for the last couple of weeks. The inside a lick of different coloured paint the outside some artistic creativity took place with a new mural painted on the outside of the Pub back and side. However, this not to be confused with a short back and side hair cut! Though the thatched roof still needs some work done on it.

Meet two friends here for a drink and meet two other friends as well. What a wonderful evening, supping beer and chatting in one's local at last!
