The Bridge Between Continents

Today I crossed the Bridge Between Continents near Reykjanes where the continental plates for Europe and North America are slowly moving apart at about 18mm each year. The forces at work in this process are mindblowing ... as is the thought of posing for a photograph with each foot on a different continent!
