No. Seriously. Like, ever. I had never made cupcakes from scratch. Or from a box. But I was possessed today, overtaken by a fierce desire to be the Cool Mom who whips up cupcakes from a recipe. No box. The frosting, well, I cheated. Out of a spray can. But otherwise, major life achievement.
