A grand old fountain

My walk to work this week has taken me through DuPont Circle in DC, home of this grandly titled Samuel Francis DuPont Memorial Fountain. Makes me think of Reggie Perrin and smile. Commissioned by the DuPont family, the fountain was installed in 1920. Hopefully it will become more of a fountain and have some water running in the summer.
