If it looks like a .....

It's black and white and it wags its tail, so what better name than the pied wagtail (Motacilla alba). It's certainly an excitable little bird, running around frenetically with its cheeky ‘chizzick-chizzick’ call. Still, he was happy enough to pose for me. Wikipedia says that its name in Spanish is lavandera blanca o aguzanieves, more commonly known as pajarita de las nieves ó pitta, and who am I to disagree.
