Nelson

Nelson arrived home from South Africa today! We brought him whilst in SA in January, Chris liked it right away, he liked the colour and he liked that it was a one off painting. The artist is a local boy living in quite a deprived area, he charged us the equivalent of £30. Getting it home has not been quite so easy! My cousin very kindly arranged for it to be sent to us as it was too big for hand baggage and too big for a suitcase – the postage has cost us more than the painting! It arrived this afternoon.
Now its home, I confess I’m not sure I like it!! Chris does like it still so it’s going to go into his man cave – perfect solution.

Well best dash, I am heading out to a Village Hall meeting
