Book mountain

In Chinese culture, books are metaphorically illustrated as 'mountains' that one needs to climb over one after another, endlessly, in order to become knowledgeable person.

But now, I have to carry such heavy 'mountains' on the way!!! This is just one of the 'mountains'. Just panic and wonder why our clever ancestors didn't compare books to anything with wings that they can fly away themselves?
