Post Box

This is where I posted my Mother's Day card today when I was out running. Ever since I was young, I've always thought of post boxes as kind of magical. You shove a letter through the hole and, in my experience. almost without exception it arrives anywhere in the country the very next day. I don't think anything I've posted has ever gone missing either. As I say, it's a wonderful thing - and seems even more so when the hole is in an old wall surrounded by foliage.
