Office

Not The Office but My Office.

This is the view from my desk. I had to wait until my colleague was on the coffee run before I took this picture otherwise she would have been in the photo.

My desk is in one corner of the office. It's position is such that I can see everything that goes on. No-one can come up or down stairs without me knowing about it; no-one can make a phone call without me knowing about it. People using the loo? That's right, nothing gets past me.

Management has, over the years, tried to suggest that we move to a smaller office. After all, two of us share the biggest office while four people share a room only half the size. We're not moving though. We also share with a temperamental photocopier which can't be moved - who would look after it if we moved out?
