"to shun the company of strangers"

At 11am I got a Twitter message from a guy I had never met but briefly exchanged a few Twitter messages with before. He asked me to meet him for a drink. By 12pm we were sharing lunch. I love social media. I love the fact that I am open to meeting new people. If I was too scared to meet new people I would never have gotten to eat this amazing brownie. This wasn't a date it was simply lunch that two strangers enjoyed together. It was a very random day and enjoyable lunch, that I didn't have to pay for. This makes me happy.
