Dead Calm

It never ceases to amaze me how calm the River Tay gets. Coupled with some good light and interesting cloud formations it can be quite magical.

Monday morning was like this just after sunrise. If I could have been bothered to get up an hour earlier I'd have captured calm river and orange sky but that's not going to happen on a week day.

It was quite good anyway and suited a black and white grainy conversion. I had thrown caution to the wind and carried my camera down only to find the battery unexplainably out of juice . iPhone to the rescue!!
