Moving on 2

Today not only saw the Royal Assent of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 - something we've been working on for a few years . It also saw the farewell of two colleagues.

Claire, on the left, is undertaking a career change, after managing the detailed planning of the legislation. Carol, on the right, has been seconded from Edinburgh Council, into my unit for over a year to work on policy around disabled children.

Each in their own way has brought different skills and experiences and it has been a great pleasure to work alongside them. They will be much missed.

We had a night out to wish them well - with the hope that we can keep in touch.
