Back to Baleshare Beach
As you can see, the Western Isles were basking in the sun today. If you could get out of the wind, it was even warm. So much so we managed a glass of wine outside in the evening - always a bonus.
Slightly odd feel to the evening thereafter as I went to a maths lecture at the local school. Large theatre and only six people to hear an interesting talk on the history of knot theory. Always good to find out things about something which previously you knew nothing about.
A link to the blip? The lecturer used a box to produce perfect clear-cut smoke rings that crossed the room - as did Peter Tait her subject - and the clouds today also had that clear-cut look to them. She also showed a clip of Dolphins playing with air rings which was worth watching - back to living maths!
