Yet another one
I haven't had much chance to post pictures recently. Now's the season for late juveniles to come in. This one was brought to us because it was wandering around during the day. Never a good sign. Turned out he was really ill and without help
would have died.
We are currently looking after 23 hedgehogs that are putting on weight quickly and eating us out of house and home. It's all worth it when you save a hedgehog that is so close losing it's life.
The litter of five that turned up in October are now all growing beyond belief. Even the little one that arrived at 54g, face covered in fly eggs and maggots. She's well and is close to 650g.
Come the new year we'll be looking for release sites for all of them.
