Leaving the beach

My wife and I spent a few days at Wrightsville Beach, NC. Great weather, food, beach, fun, too much sun, visits with friends and family.

This was the last shot just before we turned away and began what turned out to be a long journey home, made longer with yet another flight cancelled. The air transport system here in the US has deteriorated into a series of painful, agonizing, aggravating, dysfunctional and denigrating steps to insure everyone's unhappy from the passengers to the airlines staff to the airport security, the last two filled with well-meaning and dedicated folks stuck with horribly frustrating jobs complying with policies created by God Knows Who...
