John Grant Creek

One can always tell how much rain the Blue Mountains district has been getting. You just have to take a peek at John Grant Creek which you cross on the way to Lithgow along Brown's Gap Road. For much of the summer, this creek has been a dry water course but right now it looks pretty healthy, as does much of the surrounding pasture.

Just to be different I thought I'd try another Nik Color Efex filter called Duplex. It seemed to sum up the mood of the day, somehow. I figure ... without a few filters, life can be pretty straight
