Soup anyone?

I am usually more interested in gardening than cooking but so far my holiday has been wet everyday. Not complaining but no gardening has been done for the entire week. We didn't grow his lovely pumpkin as the season here is too short to grow and mature pumpkins. And they are so cheap at 39 cents/ kilogram why bother?

I love the way you cut an ordinary, dull looking vegetable and find such wonderful colour inside. The soup was good by the way...
