There was a lot to pack into today! We had some business to do in Carlisle so we dropped Ali off at the cattery on the way. We went to the garden centre for lunch and took a few minutes to wander around outside looking for blips.

I had my eye on this female blackbird and, although she had her eye on me, I managed to get quite close. Better than I manage in the garden at home. It was good to be having a practice photographing a bird ready for the start of the kingfisher hunt tomorrow!

I did some last minute shopping and sorted out packing for our holiday before katkatkat and her partner arrived from Edinburgh. Now she's here I feel the holiday has begun!
