A Touch of Autumn
It is definitely cooler in the mornings and quite dewy too. And it is dark….. Sunrise is at 7.35am. I can’t wait until daylight saving finishes in early April. There is a hint of autumn colour in some of the trees along the Taylor River. A row of willows was planted two years ago along a section of the true right bank. Their purpose, as they grow, is to further stabilize the river banks in order to keep flood waters within the berms. Those little willows are turning a delicate shade of gold as can be seen in the distance in today’s blip. This image was captured mid-stream whilst standing on a stepping stone. A challenge, as Gypsy was prancing about and trying to share the same stepping stone.
