One of my favourite waters

Today my travels took me round the shores of Ullswater. This is one of my favourite places, first stop was Howtown hotel. I love this hotel as it's old fashioned in it's decor but it works. On the bar it has the touch glass shutters. When I see these it reminds me of my dad, holding his hand whilst he was in the off license part of our local pub.
From there was onto Sharrow Bay where today's pic was taken. It has the most stunning views.
As I made my way down the other side of the lake the rain came :(
