Spring Wedding

Another day another wedding, this time with the bride wearing the traditional shinto white kimono with the white headdress. Traditionally the headpiece represents a covering of any "horns of jealousy" a bride might have, so that she may enter her new home with openness and obedience!

In other news, the woofer went to doggy prison on his holidays today. After last night's bath and now this it will cost me a fortune in cheese and chicken to make up for such neglect. I'm sure he will be well looked after :-(

For travel to be delightful, one must have a good place to leave and return to.
