Miracles don't happen

I have a habit of saying I would like to see something and it seems to miraculously appear.

Not having employed this trick for some time, I was looking into the trees (speaking out loud as usual) and said I hadn't seen a nuthatch for ages. And what should appear? This little nuthatch, quite high in a tree, dotting in-between the ivy.

It's not worked with £50 notes.

Yet.


Aside: Walked further today. Maybe won't be bird focused for much longer.
