I can see clearly now the pane has gone!

After months of being henpecked by my Mother, Bob finally turned up to replace our misted up window.

It wasn't without trauma; I was enlisted as glaziers mate to help get the unit in place.

He got a brew but any chance of a tip went out the window (pun intended haha!) when he said what a lovely big house we have and how he might suggest to my Mum that we have plenty of room for her to move in with us.

I've been to college again this afternoon (those loyalty points are accumulating nicely!) for a conditioning treatment and blow dry. It normally costs £3.50 but it was half price today. For that price, why bother doing it yourself???

Tonight I'm off out with one of the Practices I work for; it's a belated Christmas Party & we are going for a Chinese meal. Mr A will still have the usual takeaway night with the clan; I will join him after my meal, just to say hi to everyone.
