a trip into town

For my 13 yr old daughters birthday we went SHOPPING at Wick's all new retail park.
Aaaagh! My idea of hell but actually it turned out to be a very pleasant day owing to good company, sunny weather and only one cheap clothes shop to spend birthday money in - we were in Wick after all - check it out on the map, top right hand corner of far flung Scotland.
Oh, and NO fall outs or quiet, eyeball to eyeball arguments behind the clothesrails that end in someone sulking/fuming by the doors (usually me!)

The trip across in the morning from Orkney was lovely with puffins and other seabirds swooping through blue sea and sky. The return trip was the same with the addition of numerous bulging bags, a pogo stick, sore feet and 4 very tired all-shopped-out-girls.

Retail therapy at it's best!
