A Blip on the Reidar

Tick tick

There is a great story about comic artist Ron Smith who drew for loads of different companies but gets remembered mostly for his Judge Dredd work in 2000ad. He said that when he worked in comics he figured out exactly how long he had to work on each page before it become uneconomical to do so. Being in the business to actually make a living at what he did and pay bills he set an alarm clock next to his drawing board and when the allotted time was up (think it was a round five hours) he put the page he was working on down and picked up the next one.
