After the rain

Gloomy dismal wet dark cold morning and early afternoon. I didn't envy the Monstrous Regiment of Women (aka the Women's Walking Group) this morning. Nor did Cath, who decided not to join them today. Very sensible!

Then mid-afternoon, a little weak sunlight snuck through, and the glorious colour of this maple in our garden shone out.
