Sunburst in the woods

I've spent most of the morning working on my course assignment, then was surprised by the husband who had taken the afternoon off. And since it was lovely weather we had our first long walk through the woods this spring! There are a few trees that are breaking out in leaves already, it's really going to go fast if this new warmer spell will hold up. I tried several shots of the sun light filtering through the large pines (while tagging along behind, I am so out of shape!) and chose this HDR version for today's Blip.
