An Oak Tree

This oak tree' branches spread out like a massive fan. I suppose it must be at least 200 years old, though I'm not an expert in ageing oaks. It might have been planted, or just allowed to grow. Now it's protected, although not from storms. I wonder what is in store, given what has happened to the elm, the horse chestnut and the ash.
