Happy Birthday Radio Caroline and Pop Pirates!

Today is the 50th Birthday of Radio Caroline and the beginning of Pirate Radio in the UK.

Had the day off work, to visit the celebrations being held at Walton-On-the-Naze, by the Pier and in the town.

This image shows one of the original Radio Caroline bells, from the Radio Ship the Mi Amigo and a birthday cake, which was auctioned off later in the day.
