The Salt Plains

Today's been full! Every moment has been filled with different things... Part of it included Danny having to come get me from San Antonio - decided to drive home via the south of the island, we discovered the salt plains - bleak but beautiful! The plains are home to flamingoes for the first 3 months of the year!! Unfortunately they've already left, but amazing to discover yet another part of the island totally different from the rest - how can one small place be so varied? Incredible! Salt is one of Ibiza's largest exports...
Friday night we have a family tradition of smoked salmon, egg and chips, and a film - tonight's is 'Rio'...thank goodness it's not Beauty and the Beast again!!!
